Eligible employees are active employees scheduled to work at least 17.5 hours a week, depending on your position. Coverage begins the first of the month following or coincident with your date of hire. Eligible dependents include your spouse or domestic partner (same or opposite sex); you, your spouse or your domestic partner’s unmarried children (who are younger than age 19 and primarily dependent on you for maintenance and support; younger than age 24 if they rely on you for half of their financial support and are full-time students enrolled in an accredited educational institution) you, your spouse or your domestic partner’s unmarried children of any age if they are mentally or physically disabled.
